About me

Aquarius ☼ Cancer ☾ libra ↑

I'm a small-town Nebraska girl who forged a career by following my heart. Originally moving to NYC for acting, my unexpected journey led me to a corporate job. While I enjoyed it, I felt like an outsider, playing the role of a "corporate employee."

Despite several existential moments contemplating an exit, opportunities for growth and learning kept pulling me back in. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I felt called to serve in a bigger way. Proposing a wellness program, it was greenlit and became a success.

A year and a half later, I created a job proposal to make wellness a full-time position. Recognizing the future of Corporate Wellness lies in our collective well-being (equity, inclusion & belonging), I positioned the role to serve on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. Unanimous buy-in led to me becoming the first DEI & Wellness Program Manager.

Despite questioning my purpose, I realized that following my gut instincts, intuition, curiosity, and vision led me to actualize my true purpose. Today, I make the impossible feel possible and help others do the same.

Corporations weren't built for women and mothers to lead from the top, yet many trailblazing women are doing it, making sacrifices their male counterparts don't necessarily face. It's time to create new solutions for structures and systems that no longer work for us. I believe these solutions are already within us. And that’s where our work begins.
